The Lamar Station Urban Farming Classroom

The design phase started with the question “how can we create an affordable, distraction-free, outdoor learning space, while at the same time maintaining high visibility to discourage vandalism?” As our class discussed this, I suggested the idea that we would eventually call “dynamic transparency”

Lamb Springs Archaeological Preserve

A 41,220 sf Visitor’s Center at an active archeological dig site in Southwest Denver. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, around the dig we were directed to “touch the ground lightly” and avoid ground penetrations… which led to an innovative suspended dig structure!

Denver Snow Rec Museum

An urban museum dedicated to the winter sports that we all love, complete with a place to try them out!

Underwater Restaurant

The architectural user experience is an area of intense personal interest for me, and that interest can be traced back to this project in my Studio 1 class.
