About
The Arbor at Hesperian is 77 unit workforce housing community for seniors in the San Lorenzo neighborhood of unincorporated Alameda County. The project achieved a Green Point rating of Platinum.
What makes it special: I worked on this project back in 2014, and (at that time) collaboration between the San Francisco office and the Denver office was difficult and infrequent. This project was based in our San Francisco office, and we used it as a test case to see if we could collaborate between the two offices. A 1,200 mile separation was no match for our screen sharing and video calls, and in the end we considered the remote production collaboration a success!
