California’s Lost Coast

During a recent road trip to visit family, we decided to drive through California’s Lost Coast. It was beautiful! The highlight of day one was when we came around a corner, emerging from a grove of towering Redwood trees to get our first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean.

Exploring Pawnee

We went on a drive to explore a ghost town in northeast Colorado, and along the way we stumbled across the Pawnee National Grassland. It’s an interesting place… quite photogenic (and a bit moody!)
